Washburn's Comfort Series combine looks and ergonomics to deliver the ultimate player-friendly guitars. With their unique belly and top carves, these guitars hug the body rather than digging into it and provide a comfortable playing experience whether you're sitting or standing.
The Comfort G25SCE is a Grand Auditorium style acoustic/electric guitar with a Venetian cutaway for superior upper fret access. A highlight of the Comfort Series is the beveled top at the lower bout and, in the case of the Comfort G25SCE, the bevel becomes part of the beautiful mahogany binding. The guitar features a book matched solid Sitka spruce top, Pau Ferro back and sides, mahogany/maple bound body and headstock. The mahogany neck has an Ovangkol fingerboard devoid of inlays and in tandem with the Mahogany bound Ovangkol bridge adds an aura of understated elegance. A maple/mahogany/maple strip splits the book matched Pau Ferro back as well. The Pau Ferro capped headstock features a pearl inlaid Washburn logo and stylized W as well as Washburn branded die cast tuners with ebonite buttons. The gorgeous rosette is made of alternating maple and mahogany.
The Comfort G25SCE is a fantastic sounding acoustic guitar on its own but the addition of premium Fishman electronics makes for an outstanding stage performance guitar. The Fishman Presys+ is an integrated tuner/preamp system for versatile amplified tonal shaping.
COMFORT DELUXE ARMREST: The Deluxe recurved ergonomic armrest bevel increases the playing comfort on this larger Grand Auditorium body guitar. Deluxe recurved armrest models feature additional trim and miter handiwork throughout the body and bridge.
FISHMAN ELECTRONICS: Equipped with a Fishman Presys+, active preamp system for versatile amplified tonal shaping. The Presys+ also sports an integrated tuner.
18:1 RATIO TUNERS: To assure tuning stability and accuracy the 25SCE is upgraded with 18:1 ratio tuners with Ebonite buttons. This provides for more tuning accuracy than typical tuning machines.
SOLID SITKA SPRUCE TOP: A solid Sitka Spruce top, originating from North America, assures you the big and bold tone that you are seeking.

This guitar went from the factory to their authorized refurbisher, where it received a full multi-point inspection and expert setup - it is ready to play! There were no visible repairs required, and no modifications were made except the back of the headstock was gently stamped USED. I acquired this guitar from the refurbisher, and there has been no other owner. This Awesome guitar has not been played except for setup and testing.
