Guild style from the '70s is back and better than ever with the return of the solid-body S-100 guitar. With its solid and slightly offset mahogany body, the new S-100 Polara evokes its esteemed and hard-rocking predecessor of more than 40 years ago. Responsive and versatile, it also features a distinctive 24 3/4" scale length, classic Jet Black finish, rock-solid mahogany neck, and a pair of Guild HB-1 pickups. The welcome return of a true Guild classic.

The Guild HB-1 Humbucking pickup was originally introduced as an upgraded, high-output version of the LB-1. As music continued to evolve, players' needs evolved with it, and Guild found the HB-1 was well suited in their solid body models, like the S-100 Polara. The higher-output created a bigger, fuller sound that gave players an increased flexibility as they explored new sounds. The HB-1 continues to provide today's musicians with classic tone and versatility.

This LIKE NEW guitar went from the factory to their authorized refurbisher, where it received a full multi-point inspection and expert setup - it is ready to play! No visible repairs were necessary, and no modifications were made except the back of the headstock was stamped USED and the original serial number was replaced with a new one.
