VINTAGE STYLE FOR THE MODERN ERA

For players who appreciate the mojo of the past matched to contemporary features, we created the Vintera ‘50s Stratocaster Modified. Blending classic looks with a modern neck profile and fingerboard radius, hotter pickups and updated electronics, this guitar packs a surprising amount of power under the hood.

For modern Fender tone we re-voiced the trio of single-coil Stratocaster pickups, kicking things up a bit by increasing the output. Crisp and articulate, they have the power you need for any style of music. The "Modern C"-shaped neck has a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets, for modern playing feel. A contemporary, two-point synchronized tremolo with vintage-style bent-steel saddles offers rock-solid performance and tuning stability. The S-1 switch adds the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2, unlocking even more tonal variety. Other features include vintage-style locking tuning machines, vintage-style strap buttons and chrome hardware. Includes a deluxe gig bag.

ALDER BODY

A classic Fender tone wood, alder's sound is balanced with equal doses of lows, mids and highs.

"MODERN C" NECK PROFILE

The "Modern C"-shaped profile is designed for comfort and performance, while the smooth satin back finish makes it play even faster.

HOT ‘50S STRAT PICKUPS

We redesigned this guitar's pickups. They're packed with the bell-like, highly articulate tone that made Fender famous-only hotter.

MODERN FINGERBOARD

Comfortable for chording and single-note playing alike, the 9.5"-radius fingerboard offers modern feel thanks to its medium-jumbo frets, while also making wide bends easier in the upper registers.

TWO-POINT SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO

An updated design, this two-point tremolo offers proper intonation, full adjustability and easy access to cool vibrato sounds.

S-1 SWITCH

The S-1 switch adds the neck pickup to positions one and two, accessing previously unavailable tones, or the power of all three pickups cranking simultaneously.

This guitar went from the factory to their authorized refurbisher, where it received a full multi-point inspection and expert setup - it is ready to play! No visible repairs were necessary, and no modifications were made except the back of the headstock was stamped USED and the original serial number was replaced with a new one. I acquired this guitar from the refurbisher, and there has been no other owner. This LIKE NEW guitar has not been played except for setup and testing.
